PLOT
Annabelle and Li are sentenced to death in the Republic, where tourists are executed even for soft drugs. Annabelle has been awaiting execution for six months, and Lee has just been brought to death row. Annabelle is ready to accept her fate, she is proudly awaiting death, and Li is looking for ways to avoid execution. A guard comes to the cell and says that the execution can be avoided by having sex with the head of the prison. Annabelle refuses and Li agrees. After a night with the warden, he promises her that she will be pardoned.
But in the morning a guard comes and says that you need to go to the execution. Li is convinced that this is a mere formality and that she has been pardoned.
